Our Motto

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to promote friendship and mutual helpfulness among women, to encourage the cultural and social development of its members and the community, and to stimulate interest in civic, philanthropic and educational activities. We offer luncheons, music programs, home decorating and gardening techniques, book reviews, outings, and drama programs each month.

Our Luncheon Meetings

The General Club Luncheons are held the second Tuesday of each month from September through May, omitting the month of January. The General Club Luncheon Meetings are held at 11:30 AM at The Clubhouse and include a luncheon served by one of the Departments, Social Committee or Board followed by a program.

History of Community Service

The Woman's Club of Upper St. Clair was organized on March 19, 1948. The Club founded the Upper St. Clair Township Library and members are currently volunteering at the main desk. The Club has given monetary and or volunteer support to many local charities.

Scholarship

At the May General Meeting, the Club annually awards scholarships to high school seniors who reside in Upper St. Clair. The applications are available each January in the High School Guidance Office.
