 Much information will be forthcoming about the candidates who will be running for U.S. Senator, Governor and Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania, U.S. Representative, State Representative, and State Committee member.

 Meanwhile, mark these important dates on your calendar:

April 17th, 2006 -  Last day to register for the May 16th Primary Election

May 9th , 2006 -           Last day to apply for an absentee ballot for the Primary Election           

May 12, 2006 -            Last day for the County Board of Elections to receive voted absentee ballots

May 16th, 2006 -             PRIMARY ELECTION

 May 17th, 2006-            First day to register after primary

 October 10th, 2006 -            Last Day to register before the November 7th General Election

 October 31st, 2006-            Last day to apply for an absentee ballot for the General election

November 3rd, 2006-            Last day for the County Board of Election to receive voted absentee ballots           

 November 7th,2006 -            GENERAL ELECTION
