Oral History of USC
Through
a joint effort of the Community Foundation, the High School Campus
News students, and the Upper St. Clair School District, we are pleased
to announce that Volume One and Volume Two of the Oral
History of Upper St. Clair is
now available for purchase.
Residents who have tuned in to Channel 19 have had a chance to
see these chronicles of local history recounted through personal
stories laced with research, vintage photographs and 8mm home film.
It has been a labor of love for the high school students who interviewed
the residents, as well as the documenting of local history that
would otherwise have eventually been lost.
If you wish to purchase a copy of this videotape, they are available
through the Education & Lifelong Learning Focus Group of the
Community Foundation. A donation of $12 is requested to cover the
cost of the tape, duplication and mailing.
Mail your request to the Community Foundation of USC, 2585 Washington
Road, Suite 131A, Pittsburgh, PA 15241
